“I arrived in Scotland with nothing but my family who mean the world to me. When I arrived in Scotland my English was not very good. I studied to improve my English at Dundee and Angus College, and I would like to continue studying at university.
Scotland gave me and my family a place to call home, and they helped us financially which I am grateful for the rest of my life.
Right now I am trying my best with the help of the Scottish Refugee Council to open a Syrian takeaway restaurant in Dundee.”
