The Covid19 pandemic has affected the lives of everyone in Scotland and has resulted in fundamental adjustments to society and the economy. For the most vulnerable of our communities, this has resulted in additional challenges over and above the effects on the general population.
To help address these challenges and support refugee communities, Scottish Refugee Council has secured funding generously made available to us from Foundation Scotland and National Emergencies Trust.
Through delivery of a Small Grants Programme we will support refugee led community groups and local groups working with refugees, asylum seekers and persons with no recourse to public funds across Scotland so they are able to adapt or increase existing services and resources in support of their community during this emergency period.
If you want to participate and would like to apply for a Small Grant of between £1000 and £5000 to address the identified community needs of Digital poverty; Social isolation; Protection of the elderly / self-isolating; and Hardship, health and benefit advice, please fill out an application before the deadline at 11:59pm on Wednesday 13th May 2020.
Fill in the application form below, rename it yourgroupname.SFRRR.Application and send it back to email@example.com .

The Small Grants Scheme has been made possible by Foundation Scotland and National Emergencies Trust.
