Scottish Refugee Council's food-inspired fundraising campaign ‘Tastes from Home’ is raising vital funds for refugees living in Scotland.

Helping people feel safe, welcome and at home in Scotland is at the heart of our work. Every penny raised will help us ensure that refugees arriving in Scotland are welcomed, protected and given the support they need to rebuild their lives in safety.

How your support will help

Every year Scottish Refugee Council supports over 1000 individuals, families and children. We provide essential information, advice and emotional support, so that people can begin to rebuild their lives in a sustainable and meaningful way.

Scottish Refugee Council exists to help people who have fled conflict, persecution and human rights abuses, and are proud to be part of a movement in Scotland that welcomes those in need.

"I came to Scottish Refugee Council and they did everything to give me the support I needed to begin again. At times it felt impossible, but now I feel safe and at home here in Scotland."

We work with people from all over the world - from Afghanistan, Syria, Iran, Sudan, Eritrea, Vietnam and many more – who make life in Scotland richer and more vibrant for everyone.

Join our Tastes from Home campaign and help us celebrate the rich culture that refugees bring to Scotland. If you’d like to find out more, get in touch with our fundraising team. Email us or call 0141 223 7958.
