Challenges 2019

Every year our wonderful supporters run marathons, climb hills and find new and exciting ways to raise valuable funds for people in need.
Walk, run, cycle….however you want to challenge yourself in 2019, do it for refugees in Scotland.

Looking for inspiration? Here are some events coming up in 2019:

Kiltwalk 2018

The Kiltwalk 2019
Glasgow 28 April | Aberdeen 2 June | Dundee 18 August |
Edinburgh 15 September

The Kiltwalk is one of Scotland fastest growing challenge events, and with 3 distance options and 4 cities to choose from, there is definitely a walk to suit you. There are regular pit stops with free snacks and drinks along the way, and if your legs can handle it - a ceilidh at the finish line! Every penny you raise through the Kiltwalk is topped up by an extra 40%, so even more funds will go to supporting refugees in Scotland. Register for the Kiltwalk here.

Edinburgh Marathon

Edinburgh Marathon Festival 2019
25 & 26 May

Voted one of the most iconic marathons in the world, (and with a descent of almost 90 metres, also one of fastest!) the Edinburgh Marathon is not to be missed. The run takes you through the heart of Edinburgh, passing historic landmarks like Greyfriars Bobby, Edinburgh Castle, the Royal Mile, Arthurs Seat and the Palace of Holyrood. With a variety of distances available – there’s an option to suit all fitness levels. We still limited charity spaces available, so register today!

Night Rider
The Nightrider Glasgow 2019
22 - 23 June

After their successful launch in Glasgow last year, The Nightrider is back! Cycle the city at night for a fun and truly unique way to see Glasgow’s highlights and hidden treasures. Choose between a 100km or 50km route, with full support throughout and a well-earned breakfast at the end. It’s a challenge, but we think it’s worth it. Register now.

Dog Jog
The Dog Jog 2019
Glasgow 27 July | Edinburgh 28 July

The dog jog is a fun, dog-friendly 5k jogging event, targeted at you lovely dog people. The event is relaxed and fun with no time pressures. Enjoy the great outdoors with your four-legged friend and cross the finish line to receive a doggy bag! Register now.

These are just a few of the challenge events coming up this summer, but we know there are plenty more out there.
