UK Government Must Do More To Help Iraqi Refugees

The UK government should do more to help Iraqi refugees displaced from their homes in the aftermath of the Iraq war and offer them the chance of a future in Scotland, Scottish Refugee Council and the UN Refugee Agency will say at the launch of the Life After Iraq photography exhibition on Thursday (June 12).

Red Road Flats Take Up Residence At The Scottish Parliament For Refugee Week

Ten-foot replicas of the Red Road flats will visit the Scottish Parliament for a Refugee Week Scotland reception, hosted by Glasgow Anniesland MSP, Bill Butler.

The foam towers have been made by young people from Springburn, working with Multi-story artists Iseult Timmermans and Rob Welsh.
