Media release, July 30: Yasher Kamal and Georgios Samaras at Celtic
Young football fan Yasher Kamal was treated to a 'HOME Visit' this week at his favourite team's home ground, Parkhead.
Yasher, 12, whose family are of Kurdish descent and came to Scotland from Iraq as refugees, was treated to a special tour of Parkhead stadium. The highlight was a kickabout with star striker Giorgios Samaras who also spoke about what home means to him.
The visit is part of the Scottish Refugee Council's HOME project, taking place during the Year of Homecoming.
