This report, A study of Black Minority Ethnic (BME) service user distribution by network opulation distribution by Networks was commissioned by Glasgow Community Planning Partnership. It provides an analysis of:
- the numbers of people from asylum seeker, refugee and broader BME and migrant communities within Glasgow
- the distribution of these communities across the city
- the specific challenges faced by these communities and their needs
The report is a contribution to the work of Glasgow Community Planning Partnership and Glasgow City Council as they develop their response to equality issues in the city. It will also be of use to other stakeholders who are looking to effectively respond to the issues facing the communities highlighted.
The report is complementary to the recent equalities horizon scanning work carried out by ODS Consulting for Glasgow Community Planning Partnership.
