We have moved

Scottish Refugee Council has moved offices.

From Wednesday 4 January 2017, you will find us and our services right in the heart of Glasgow: 6th Floor, Portland House, 17 Renfield Street, Glasgow, G2 5AH.

A stone’s throw from Glasgow Central Station, the new offices are more suitable to the needs of our clients and services. The space will offer a more inviting and welcoming environment for refugees, refugee communities and visitors alike.

Service Information

Our advice services for refugees: the Scottish Refugee Integration Service, Family Keywork Service, Destitute Asylum Seeker Service and Scottish Guardianship Service, in partnership with Aberlour Childcare Trust, are now offered mainly by appointment.

From early 2017, the Scottish Refugee Integration Service will also be operating in additional locations across Glasgow.  We will provide more details about this soon.

Contact Information

All our phone numbers and email addresses will remain the same.

Welcome Wall

We would love you to be part of our move and new office space.

In our new reception and services area we are building a ’Welcome Wall’. And it’s going to be great. We are asking supporters, partners, donors, volunteers, clients and staff to email us photographs that we will build into a large mosaic to welcome refugees to our offices. Why not send us a pic of you in your ‘Aye Welcome Refugees’ t-shirt? Or holding up an ‘I Welcome Refugees’ placard. Or having a cup of tea with a refugee? Or simply you with a big smile on your face.

Please send your high resolution (suitable for print) photograph to with the subject line ‘Welcome Wall’.  We will share some of the best pics on Twitter using the hashtag #WelcomeWall.
