The winners of the 2015 Refugee Festival Scotland media awards were announced on Wednesday evening at the Lighthouse in Glasgow.

In a year of exceptionally high quality entries to the awards, the winners included stories covering many of the major issues of the last twelve months.

Winning entries included coverage of the challenges and anxieties facing recently arrived Syrian refugees in Scotland, problems with asylum accommodation in Glasgow and the scandal of long term and indefinite detention in Dungavel Immigration Removal Centre.
