How asylum seekers and refugees can take part in arts events in Scotland

We support a variety of arts and cultural events, groups, performances, screenings, exhibitions and workshops, which run throughout the year. 

If you want to find a club, class or arts group

If you are looking to take part in the arts within your community – from dance classes to photography workshops – have a look at the arts organisations we work with and get in touch with them directly to see what’s happening in your area.

If you work in the arts and want to learn about refugee issues

We work closely with arts organisations working with refugees or concerned with refugee issues. In the past we have offered assistance such as script development, filming opportunities, finding participants and helping to link organisations together for mutual benefit. 

We can also help market and promote refugee arts events so let us know if you have any events happening.  Unfortunately we have limited funding and it is very rare that we are able to offer financial assistance. However we can sometimes provide support and advice on alternative funding streams.
