Scottish Refugee Council is looking for a passionate and skilled Learning and Development Officer to join our services team in Dundee. This in a new and exciting role that will contribute towards the achievement of our strategic priorities in promoting good practice around refugee family integration in Scotland as well as the sustainability of refugee integration practice in Dundee.
Working closely with Dundee Health and Social Care Partnership, you will contribute to the sustainability of refugee integration practice in Dundee by:
• Engaging with refugee families and family service providers across Dundee to capture, share, and promote best practice and learning;
• Working with key partners across Dundee Health and Social Care Partnership, Dundee City Council, NHS Tayside and the Third Sector to develop training and capacity building material including web based e-learning material

Scottish Refugee Council is an independent human rights charity that has been supporting and advocating for the rights of refugees since 1985.  Our work involves the provision of services and support to refugees, advocating and campaigning for change and improvements to legislation and policy in Scotland and the UK and supporting the integration of refugees into society.   
Thus, we are looking for highly knowledgeable and motivated individual with experience of working across sectors, different learning partners and proven ability in developing and delivering training and evidence based practice models and guides.
This role reports directly to the Humanitarian Integration Services Manager and will be subject to a PVG Registration.

This role is fixed term until 30th September 2020.
