Scottish Refugee Council is looking for a passionate and skilled Integration adviser to join our services team. This in a new and exciting post that will contribute towards the achievement of our strategic priorities in ensuring that refugee families are integrated in their communities and able to become active citizens.

In this role, you will be working with Syrian refugees who have been relocated to Perth & Kinross and Angus Council area as part of the Home Office Resettlement Programme. You will need to have knowledge on working with refugees and their families in an empowering approach to promote independence and self-agency. You must be a good communicator and fluent in both Arabic and English.

Scottish Refugee Council is an independent human rights charity that has been supporting and advocating for the rights of refugees since 1985.  Our work involves the provision of services and support to refugees, advocating and campaigning for change and improvements to legislation and policy in Scotland and the UK and supporting the integration of refugees into society.    

This role reports directly to the Services Manager and will be subject to a PVG Registration.

Interviews will be held week beginning 26 March 2018 (exact date TBC)
