Making a fresh claim (fresh submissions)

Presenting new evidence for your asylum claim

If your appeal against your refused claim for asylum is unsuccessful and your legal representative cannot make any more appeals, they may be able to present fresh submissions to the Home Office.

You should always seek specialist immigration advice, for example from your legal representative, about making fresh claims.

Information you'll need to make a fresh claim

To make a fresh submission you will need to provide new evidence that has not already been submitted. This new evidence must show why you cannot return home. If the Home Office accepts this evidence, they may consider your new claim for asylum.
