Advice and advocacy 

We are an independent charity dedicated to providing advice, information and assistance to asylum seekers and refugees living in Scotland. 

To make an appointment, call our free telephone number on 0800 085 6087. If English is not your first language and you require an interpreter, we will try to book one.

If you prefer to speak to a female or male adviser, let us know when we book your appointment and we will try to book your preference.

Our Client Charter

April 2010

Our Client Charter outlines your rights as a service-user and what you can expect from us.  It also outlines our commitment to our clients and identifies how our caseworkers can help. Additionally it identifies how to make a complaint in the instance that your are not happy with the service provided.

Our Charter is available to download in English, Arabic, Farsi, French, Kurdish Sorani, Mandarin, Pashto, Somali, Tigrinya and Urdu.

Seek advice before you apply for British citizenship or register your child

Applying for British citizenship is a complex and extremely costly process; fees are generally non-refundable. Before making an application for citizenship or registering your child as a British citizen, you should speak to your adviser or legal representative.
